Benzino Disses Royce Da 5'9" On Track Featuring Raekwon

Posted: Tuesday - December 29, 2009 |

Benzino Former The Source owner Benzino, who is best known for his never ending beef with Eminem, unleashed Break To Build featuring Raekwon on the internet yesterday (December 28), and threw a few shots and a warning to long-time Eminem collaborator, Royce Da 5'9".

Benzino takes aim at seemingly no one in particular at first on his first verse. "Outta pocket n*ggas get dealt wit/ Serial killers be atcha crib ,the return of the celtic/ Hit the city like Arabian nights, you know them rocks still shinin like stadium lights," raps Zino over the beat.

"Put the metal in 'em like he was a transformers/ I got percentage of the team, you a benchwarmer/ How you in the hood without showing your face/ These motherf*ckers run the town, I'm controlling the state."

In the latter part of the song however, after a verse from Raekwon, who doesn't diss anyone in the song, Benzino fires off shots at Royce Da 5'9", even mentioning the emcee by name: "Run 'em down, hit 'em up in some traffic/ Slap his b*tch in the mouth, break up his glasses/ Stupid looking n*gga, really nobody heard of you/ Better watch your mouth, Royce. N*ggas will murder you."

Speculations make Break To Build the response to Royce's No Coming Back From That from his Bar Exam 3 mixtape due out in March. On the track, Royce disses Canibus and claims that Benzino is only known "for talking sh*t behind the camera with N.O.R.E."

After the songs' release, Raekwon went on Twitter and stated all he did was send Benzino a verse, and that he had nothing to do with the beef.

"For the record I wanna say I take no part in nobodys diss song, I just sent them a verse thts it! THAT'S BTW THEM BROTHERS KEEP ME OUTTA IT!" wrote Rae.

Royce also responded to the track via Twitter and promised fans there will be more to come. "Damn he came back quicker than Canibus..smh WELL BE3 will be full of DRAMA lol."
